Jack and the Beanstalk was a children's fable we are all familiar with. The best take away from that fable is, don't let vegetation grow to the sky because there might be an angry giant who speaks in rhyme taking up residence at the top who wants to eat you. (That's worst case scenario).
Another consequential scenario for letting vegetation grow is it becoming entangled in your sewer line and drainage systems. Tree roots and weeds can grow rapidly and interwoven. If ignored, there won't be a giant waiting for you on the other side, but there will be a giant bill if you don't do something about it now. Tree roots grow wherever they can. They are forceful and are constantly seeking moisture.
The remedy is vigilance and preventive maintenance. A bi annual check of your sewer line and removal of debris, weeds, roots, leaves et al will prevent major damage. We will gladly rod or jet to ensure that your sewer line leads to the sewer and not to a land of giant bills.
